Welcome to our family! We love fiercely and protectively, and we value honest conversations (even the hard, yucky stuff). Our tapestry of life is intricately woven by the One who gives life – the Author and Perfector of our faith. Without God, we would be a verifiable mess swathed in chaos.
And I’m not being over-dramatic!
As a family, we want to reflect the grace that is so lavishly given to us. Who knows what you’ll find in this blog! We aim to be authentic and genuine, so you may see anything from goofiness to hard truths that we’re struggling to understand. Either way, we invite you into our lives and we would love to hear about yours. We love stories – hearing and sharing them.
So, let us introduce ourselves.
My name is Stefanie, and I’ll most likely be the main writer on this blog. I’m a northern girl who’s living in the south and married into a wonderfully loving family. I’m passionate about Christ, family, creativity, talking, laughing, board games, teaching, learning, movies, writing, reading, etc!
On February 20, 2016 I married this amazing man, Daniel:
Daniel (I call him Dan, because I’m a fan of one-syllable names) loves protectively and gently. He’s passionate about Christ, his family, technology, creativity, intentionality, learning, laughing, and growing. He loves all things technology and mechanics. He’s a tinkerer and a thinker. He loves puttering in the workshop, working on our four-wheeler (which will only currently drive in reverse – but that’s a whole other story!). His current passion is creating video games (a project we’re both excited to be working on).
Our daughter, M (we’re protective), is seriously the coolest chick on earth. But I may be a bit biased. She also goes by Bug in our family (one-syllable trend, yes?). Bug is short for Cuddlebug, which is also another name she goes by.
She will be turning 11 in May. She is spunky, funny, smart, and compassionate. She loves fiercely and openly. She’s passionate about God, family, HUGS, spending good quality time with others, games, trying new things, exploring, and making others laugh. There’s never a dull moment with her! She has made Dan and I burst out in laughter many a time, and she strives to do her best in everything. She is a joy to have in our lives.
That’s our family! Thanks for letting us in your life and we hope you enjoy stories of our lives.
Until next time!
